Knit & Natter

Our Knit & Natter group started in a quiet way about three years ago with a very small group of stitchers.   Then we started a Facebook page (nattily called Knit & Natter Wendover Library), which came into existence in March 2017, although not all members are Facebook users.

From those early beginnings, we now have a very active and friendly group who meet in the library for crochet, knitting or any other form of hand needle/stitch craft - and of course lots of nattering.  Recently some of us started using our left over yarn to make items to donate to charity and have just completed one patchwork blanket and are well on the way to being ready to complete another one.

We use the upstairs meeting room at Wendover Community Library, located through the service desk towards the back of the library.  However, the pretty little courtyard garden is available to us if the weather is of Goldilocks Standard - neither too hot nor too cold!

Experience is most definitely not necessary.  There are plenty of members with experience of most needle or stitch crafts who can help and advise anyone who wants to join us to learn.  Tea / coffee is always available and quite often some biscuits too.

Meeting Times

10.30 am - 12.30 pm on 1st Thursday each month

1.30 pm -  3.30 pm on 3rd Tuesday each month

Please call the library if you are interested in coming along and we will make sure that one of us is available to welcome you.
