'OnScreen' Film Nights

Films - old and new - screened in the Meeting Room - are you interested?

Can you help? We need more volunteers to help us, especially on screening nights, to help set up and tidy away afterwards. Please email us at onscreenatwendover@hotmail.com or pop into the Library if you think you can help.

OnScreen Film nights have been made possible thanks to subscriptions and donations by the Friends of Wendover Library, enabling us to install a 65 inch screen, Dolby 5.1 surround sound system and black-out blinds in the Library meeting room, all of which provide a close to cinema experience.

It is run purely by volunteers and screenings are usually on the third Friday of each month at 7.30 pm. Join us for pre-film refreshments and enjoy a great film in our cosy venue. Soft drinks & snacks are available on the night.

There is no membership fee - 'pay as you go' by booking at the library counter. We aim to provide screenings for a wide range of tastes of new and classic films and feel free to tell us what you want, after all it's your community!

We pay a licence in accordance with rules for public screenings and require a minimum number of attendees to enable us to justify this cost so please support us wherever you can.

Enquiries should be made to onscreenatwendover@hotmail.com
